Artist's Comments

Version 2.0

The second peice of work inspired by [link] 's own peice, 'the city run on children.'
This one's a little more gruesome that the others, but I still like it. Hope everyone else does too.

this is an impressive piece, i hope it gets the attention it deserves. composition is strong, perspective is strong, line works strong, even the humor is strong. my only nit pick is minor, because the value of the lines in the background and foreground vary it can confuse the eyes a bit. basically, having super crisp and thick black lines in both the back ground and foreground slightly confuse the otherwise really effective feeling of space in the piece. does that make sense? very impressive. take care n God bless

Now this is definitly the better version of the picture. It is nice to see people using this untapped energy source. Plus there is violence. That makes it an A in my book.

I noticed that; It does seem to draw your eye to everything at once, and while I think it helps this peice a bit, It might not do so well for others. I'll keep that in mind next time.

I appreciate all the constructive criticism. I hope you frequent my gallary from time to time and critique some of my other works! I'd appreciate any input whatsoever.

They say artists should be able to create no matter what medium they are handed. But if someone hands you a slab of marble, and tells you to carve a sculpture using only your face, you're probably S.O.L.
:iconphantasm-okimaru:
I'm really not suprised that you added this to your Favs Takeo. It really doesn't. XD

Glad you like it. I'll try putting out more like it in the future.

Well who doesn't like the burning of children as a fuel source. Do you remember the cute, fluffy, and stupid comics you used to do?
:iconphantasm-okimaru:
XD Those things were great! I need to do some more of them.

:iconphantasm-okimaru:
Nope. I thought this up out of my own sick and twisted head. I have yet to see the movie Robots.

This is still my favorite picture you have done. Long live child burning for power. Hey I wonder if this would break child labor laws in the US since the kids are actually doing work for once in their lives.
